  • Where: Miraleste Intermediate School 29323 Palos Verdes Dr E, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275 Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm *Registration | Monday 8:30am - 8:45am **Late pick-up | 4:00pm - 5:00pm (no additional cost | MUST notify staff asap if you will need a late pick-up)

At Palos Verdes Swish Camp, our mission is to ignite a lifelong passion for basketball by teaching campers the core fundamentals of the game. We believe that mastering these essential skills not only builds confidence on the court but also deepens the enjoyment of this incredible sport.

 

Through focused instruction, dedicated mentorship, and a supportive environment, we empower young athletes to develop their abilities, fostering a love for the game that will last a lifetime.

 

We know that staying active and having fun all day requires the right fuel! At Swish Camp, we provide free healthy snacks daily, carefully selected by our registered dietician to keep your child energized and focused. From wholesome fruits to nutrient-packed options, every snack is designed to support their active lifestyle.

 

For those looking for additional treats, we’ll also have a variety of other snacks available for purchase. Whether your camper is recharging between drills or gearing up for the next game, we’ve got their nutrition covered!

 

ADDITIONAL CAMP FEATURES

 

  • Wish List Requests: At Swish Camp, we know that summer is even more fun when shared with friends! That’s why we offer a Wish List Requests feature, giving parents the option to request that their child be placed on the same team as their friend(s) for the week. We do our best to accommodate all requests to make sure your camper has an enjoyable and memorable experience alongside their buddies. While we strive to honor every request, our priority is maintaining fair and balanced teams to ensure competitive play. 

  • Carpool Connections: If driving to Miraleste feels like a hassle, we’re happy to connect you with your neighbors! Simply opt into our Carpool Connections program during sign-up, and we’ll connect you (via email) with up to three nearby families (within a 10-minute radius). Together, you can coordinate a carpool schedule, share the drive, and build community while saving time.

     

  • Alternative Solution: Swish Staff Carpool: If you’re unable to participate in Carpool Connections, no worries! Contact Coach Z at (coachZ@pvswishcamp.com), and we’ll do our best to accommodate your transportation needs.

Swish Camp Statement of Consent & Waiver of Liability

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that I am the legal parent/guardian of the above-named child and consent to their participation in all activities associated with Swish Camp. I understand the nature of these activities and acknowledge that while reasonable precautions will be taken to ensure safety, participation in physical activities may involve certain inherent risks.

Emergency Medical Authorization

In the event of an emergency, I authorize Swish Camp staff to arrange for necessary medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached. I accept financial responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.

Release of Liability

I release, waive, and discharge Swish Camp, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from my child’s participation in camp activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Acknowledgment of Risk and Release of Liabilit

  1. I understand and acknowledge that participation in Swish Camps, including basketball activities and other related programs (e.g., carpool service, swimming), involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, accidents, or other unforeseen events.
  2. I hereby assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, arising from my child’s participation in Swish Camps.
  3. I release and discharge Swish Camps, its owners, directors, staff, volunteers, and facility providers from any and all liability, claims, or demands resulting from my child’s participation in the camp, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
  4. I certify that my child is in good physical health and has no conditions that would prevent safe participation in camp activities.
  5. In the event of an emergency, I authorize Swish Camps staff to seek medical care for my child, and I agree to be responsible for any costs associated with such care.
